My son has been looking at (approx.) "top 25" engineering programs at well-ranked public and private univ/coll. He is not really interested in a tech school as such, but would prefer a school with a variety of good programs. He is a National Merit Semifinalist (expecting to be a finalist). Our opinion is that although he shouldn't choose a school primarily based on merit aid, it also isn't prudent to disregard that factor completely.

Here is a list from CC identifying current aid for NMFs.

My question is: Are there any schools on the list that should be considered for someone desiring a very good education in ME?

o Full ride is defined as minimum tuition/room/board.
o U=University, C=College
