<p>I can see both sides of the argument and as you know I fully disagree with the disparity that has been created by the legislature. andisandy makes a good point about the statistical aspect of things, in fact I wish I had said it before! You know I have no gripes with you or anyone else on CC and have an OOS sophomore son (from Texas ldmom) who couldn't be happier with his choice of schools, with his numerous in-state friends who are all "amazing" and "really smart people."</p>

<p>As an aside, the only negative about having your d go to UNC , and I say this from personal experience, is that after she experiences "Blue Heaven" she may never want to return home to live. </p>
