Any waitlisted students get accepted at better schools? BRAG HERE!

Marcc: I'm sorry. I've been following this thread, and-- at this point, you're just embarrassing yourself. While I understand your need to somehow validate yourself, because of your waitlist status, you shouldn't feel that way. Instead, you should be absolutely thrilled that you are going to Notre Dame, an equally fine school that you clearly feel--by your own admission-- is a much better fit for you.

I do feel bad that you believe SAT scores are necessarily linked with level of "smarts." One reason is that--unless you made a perfect score--by your own calculation, you will always be one of the dumber people-- wherever you go. So you might want to rethink your ideas about SAT scores. And remember, there's so much more to a person than a number connected to a test. Seriously. And I hate to be the one to break this to you, but nobody ever asks about your SAT scores after your senior year of high school. Seriously. The topic just never seems to factor into any conversation I've ever had in my life.
