<p>Marcc: I apologize. And you are correct that schools consider SAT scores for admission, along with--I hope--a slew of other information about the applicant.</p>

<p>My point is, that while high SAT scores do reflect a certain aptitute (including, perhaps, an ability to simply perform well on standardized tests), it is not the be-all and end-all of a person. Not by a long shot. </p>

<p>And hopefully (if you're lucky)--in college and beyond--you will meet so many amazing, interesting, engaged, terrifically funny, warm, helpful, caring, smart, talented, and all-around great people-- that their one-time score on a standardized test will never enter even the back-recesses of your mind. </p>
