I just recently visited W&L and absolutely loved it! The only problem is that admissions is obviously very competitive and I just don't know if I even have a chance of being accepted. The other problem is the expense, and I'm just curious as to how much financial aid is actually given. As far as academics go, I have a 3.7 unweighted gpa, a 4.1 weighted gpa. When I graduate high school I will have taken 9 AP courses, as well as being involved in many other activities; horse back riding, working, honors societies, key club, etc.
Unfortunantly, my SAT scores are low. I have taken it twice and I have a 1730 (570 CR, 570 M, 590 W). I know that these scores are not good enough. However, I am taking the ACT in Febuary and I have taken the practice one and got a 29 composite so I am hoping to do better on that test.
Any advice? I really love this school and would really love to go there!
