So here's my problem: I am so disastrously ill-prepared for my AP Environmental Science test (because my teacher totally didn't budget enough time to finish the book; we're not even 1/2 way through it), that I know that AT BEST I will pull off a 3. However, the college I'm attending doesn't even recognize the AP Environmental Science test, and thus gives no credit for any score.

So I was wondering- I'd like to save myself from numerous hours of torterous, harmful stress and just not take the environmental science exam. Is there any way I can do this and also get some money back? Or is that $95 pretty much gone?

Please help! Thanks! :o

You pay $13 to not take it.

Whoa, so I have to pay to NOT take it? What happens if I just don't show up? Will I get a 0?

they charge you $13 to cancel the test (charged for each unused exam). but the good thing is that you get the original amount you paid refunded... thats what happened to my sister.

According to the AP Coordinator at my school, each school makes the decision as to whether they will allow refunds. If they choose to allow them, you will get your test fee back, minus the $13 to return the test to CB. Unfortunately, my school has decided not to do refunds, so I'm stuck with a AP Gov't test that I'm probably not going to take :(
