<p>My daughter finally got an acceptance for BA in Theatre & Performance this weekend via an letter in the mail (big envelope). It was an early action application, so maybe others are still coming. Good luck! </p>

<p>Sorry, @mtmom2014! We are waiting for our no as well. Where do you live? We are in Southern Caifornia; I wonder if ours will come today. My D’s friend got a phone call (accepted) last Monday, and since we haven’t heard, we assume it’s a no. She’s been scared all week. SUNY is her top choice. Sending you good wishes for some acceptances to come ease the disappointment.</p>

<p>Got my rejection letter today too. I’m surprised how easy it’s gotten to move on from the no’s, but as some say they are “redirections” rather than rejections, just paving the way toward to the right school!</p>

<p>Daniellececelia–I love the “redirections” idea! It reminds me of Lisa Kudrow’s Commencement address at Vassar. She basically shared her journey and how her rejections ultimately led her to better opportunities. </p>
<p>We are licking our wounds and have decided on a safety school. Still waiting for the Purchase rejection letter. Must remember to watch Lisa’s speech again when the letter arrives. :)</p>
<p>Just got the email D is waitlisted… Now the hard work of staying noticed begins. </p>
<p>Ugh no wait list email for us which means rejection letter is prob in mail to California so it’s taking longer…D is so bummed bc she felt her audition went so well. Hoping for good news from Syracuse and/or BU!!</p>

<p>Ok so what I am hearing is people have gotten acceptances to Purchase via email and letter as well as wait list. So if we have not heard yet we are most likely a no, correct? Sigh…</p>
