<p>Just wondering if anyone has heard anything. I know they don't usually let the word out till after June, but wondered if anyone knows.</p>
<p>I’m sure the UD Board of Trustees has a Finance Committee which works with UD’s Finance Department and presents recommendations that are then approved by the full Board during their meeting in early July. Last year the Tuition/Fees for in-state students increased 4.4% and the OOS increase was 4.8% (these were the lowest percentage increases in 6 years). I would be really surprised if there will be much difference in the increases this year. For OOS I would figure 5% and hope for a little less and not much more. A 5% increase for OOS would be an increase of around $1,400.00. There are also the annual room/board increases (I don’t have the figures on these handy). This is the traditional way of welcoming new freshman to the school (with price increases) LOL.</p>
<p>Sure hope I am one of the welcomed freshman…UD worth it no matter what the increase!! Fingers crossed and checking portal daily!!</p>
