Thanks motion12345, and best of luck with Chicago! It really is such an amazing school Are you applying anywhere else early?

no!!! :(

I was gonna do Yale SCEA, but then that would mean that I would have to wait until March to find out about UChicago…and I certainly wouldn’t make it till then lol.

@scorpio1:I feel that too!!! up to now, every guessing is proved wrong yet I cannot stop guessing!

@motion: agreed. I couldn’t even wait out a month and a half…

so best bet is that decisions are coming out on the 15th? or before that?

We are speculating Monday or Tuesday. It could be afterward I guess? (I hope not >.<) The office closes early on the 18th as well…

i’ve maintained the belief that decisions will be released the 15th and I think i’ll keep with this mentality. That way I’m not upset if they aren’t released Monday.

And, I’m not sure I want to know (I think a deferral is in my future, but let’s hope not!)

Even if I’m deferred or rejected I just want some closure.

Congrats to Romanticism! XD G-town is a great school!I’m RDing it ~But I now realize I should have applied early to more schools! oh well~

It’s funny that now I feel less anxious than three days ago…but now my dad and mom and my teachers get more anxious than I…lol

^^^haha Collins, exactly. Saftey in our ignorant pessimism…

These last two days have been longer than the entire month before that. I am worn and weary.

I’ve stopped believing I have a half-decent chance of getting in. This month has been one disaster after another. I could really use some good news :(

I feel EXACTLY the SAME way you do terp.

We need to distract ourselves!!!
This is painful. Plus I bet most of us will get rejected anyways…gross!!

indeed indeed !!! a distraction is in dire need of! but I doubt if anyone can stop thinking about UChicago. and spiralcloud, pleasee don’t say such cruel things. I am sure nobody will like that result. UChicago has an admission rate which is over 25%, and that has proved they are more generous than most top schools.(look at Harvard’s!)

Thanks GatitaZ! I know what you mean. I’ve been anticipating my U Chicago decision for months, and now I am strangely calm as the date approaches.

@dawncoming: well, they did get 54% more apps this year…

The admissions rate won’t be higher than 25% much longer.

pity!! but how did you know, zakuropanda?

and are you really sure, Secret Asian Man?
