"I always laugh at people who say this, because half the time they get rejected from everywhere else and end up at UCR in the end."

it's understandable that you'd exaggerate to make your point, but try to be a little more subtle. you know that isn't even remotely true... especially not of most people on this forum.

UCR's admit rate is ~85%
when that acceptance letter comes (notice the 'when') you might want to think twice before cracking open the Dom Perignon.

^
Nicely put. My sister graduated from UCR then went on to UCLA law. An ignoramus like this is putting down UCR when he hasn't graduated from college or accomplished anything significant in life besides mindless forum banter and wordy statements.

Obviously someone with wayyyy too much time on their hands..

wait...
you got mad at someone who trivialized the accomplishment of getting into UCR, which implies that you were proud of yourself for having gotten in.
my only point was that you shouldn't be too proud.
try not to get so defensive..
i swear, too many of you weren't loved enough as children.

I made that comment becuase I get a kick out of people and their grandiose senses of entitlement and elitism. Instead of appreciating the fact that you have a top 100 university in your state that's so lax in its admissions requirements to fall back on (which is all I'm saying), you trash the school and the people who go there. A+.

I'm proud? You're obviously the one sitting on an internet pedistal. "OmG uCr iS sUcH tRaShhHhH."

Maybe you should talk smack on things that actually deserve it. Go troll an unemployment forum, guy.

Congratulations to Pinkerfloyd and KingInc. for more than 300 and 200 posts on this forum! Oh wait, I shouldn't trivialize such a grand accomplishment.

One thing you need to learn in the legal industry or in any industry is, you never bad mouth people or make judgments. Yes, you and KingInc. trivialize the accomplishment of a UCR acceptance, but who are you to do such a thing? I mean what makes you an authority on what school is important and what isn't. You have yet to graduate college or hold a real job. You're also a philosophy major so I suggest you use your time to reflect on yourself instead of antagonizing people on this forum.

BTW, I got your message and clap clap good for you. I already graduated from college and just took the LSATs so there goes your theory buddy. I only went on this forum to read posts on law schools but your post was so idiotic, I had to say something. Also, please stay away from the field of law. You still have a lot of maturing to do before law firms even consider hiring you full-time.

and cali, calling me immature after that last post (clap clap) is just recockulous.

well, it's more hypocritical than recockulous.. i mean.. i haven't graduated from college NOR have i taken the LSATs. when i do, along with gaining validation for my existence, maybe i'll finally find out what it's like to be REALLY mature. omg, i hope it's everything you make it out to be.. what's it like having people take you seriously?

seriously, man. you've taken things way out of context and responded to arguments, assertions, statements... whatever.. that haven't been made. words have specific meanings, and when put into certain contexts, they make stronger certain allusions over others. it's not up to you to dictate the topic of a sentence. it's there.. you just have to train yourself to find it. i hate to even accept the premises of most of your accusations, and try not to... but you've made it so frustrating that i feel some pressing (and embarrassing) need to get through to you. obviously, that's impossible. please excuse me if i've offended you in any way. i hope we can still be innerweb-friends and hold hands on campus when we all end up at UCR.
