The WHAP scores are really discouraging. Only 7% made 5’s? That’s unbelievable! I hope I did well enough to get a five, but if I didn’t, I’d still be happy with a 4.

where is everyone getting the percentages from?

@Noxsing
The director of the AP program, Trevor Packer, has a twitter account and has been posting the score distributions for the tests once they have been graded. Google “ap trevor” and you can read all of them

I a rising freshman was also discouraged to see only 7% of people made a 5(I’m taking WHAP sophomore year). I heard it’s one of the hardest AP’s.

I just want July 1st to come already! Then I can know my scores!

Yea I am really worried about WHAP. I took the exam this year and thought I did well, but those percentages are very discouraging.

Where can you call to get the score earlier? I’m going to call, I swear! Please someone tell me how to do it!! I can’t wait for another month… I took AP gov.

Number for calling in early

@janedoeski, Did you study the AP World material thoroughly before the exam? What study devices did you use?

@blueny1997
I kind of studied a lot, but in a very short time period of time (two days before test). I read REA Crash Course twice, and I read about 3/4 of Barron’s APWH review book (did not have time to finish it before test day). I still think I did alright, a 4 would be a realistic score.

I worked very hard during the school year in that class so I was hoping I would just start remembering things. This AP exam got the least amount of study time from me, because I needed to learn a ton of biology.

@Janedoeski Wow that’s a lot. I hope you get a 5.

When are the scores sent by mail this year?

@AdrLan There’s no specific date to my knowledge. I was just told I would receive my scores by mail in the third week of July.

I want my bleedin’ AP scores.

While we’re on the subject, how do I go about sending last year’s scores, since I never designated a college. Do I need my old AP number? Because I have no idea what it is.

Good question David, you would have to call the college board people preferably next Sunday on July 1st when all the AP Scores and results are going to be distributed to universities.

And I think there’s a fee of $8 per call.

The fee is $15 per college.

are AP scores just mailed to your house?

Yep, mailed to the address that you placed on your answer booklet.

Here’s some of the score distributions already out for this year: [2012 AP Exam Score Distributions](<a href=“2012 AP Exam Score Distributions”>2012 AP Exam Score Distributions)

I apologize if someone else beat me to this.

The 8.3% number for 5s on AP Lit gave me a heart attack! I really hope I’m in that percentage!

Also, I KNEW I should have taken Comp Sci, but even though it’s a math credit it didn’t satisfy the “one class above Algebra II” requirement, so I couldn’t.

@XCyoungX Thanks so much for the link, although other people were able to share some info on score distributions on an AP’s tweet page this was by far the best formatted!

@DavidSSabb94 Only 12.6% of people got a 5 on the AP Human Geography Exam, and I really hope I’M in that percentage !
