Anybody else get in?

I'm in, anyone else?

My S hasn’t received anything yet. Did you receive a letter or was on the online portal? We were not expecting anything for at least a couple more weeks. Looking at last year’s posts, 12/15 was the first posted acceptance.

I believe the OP is a transfer applicant, so maybe there is a different timetable.

I’m a transfer student as well and I haven’t heard back yet.

I’m a transfer student, and my acceptance packet showed up on Friday. Nothing about finnancial aid though :(

To those who got in already, did your MySanDiego online portal show any changes at all?

I have yet to hear a response myself, but as stated in the online portal, any notifications will be made through mail/e-mail.

I stil haven’t heard, however I am still in the process of sending my grade reports. I am so nervous…

Just got my acceptance packet today such a huge relief. No worries to those who are still waiting I’m sure you’ll hear any day now that you’re in!

Just got my acceptance letter :)

Still have to pay for it, though… anyone happen to have $150K lying around? :p

i got in!! heard saturday

Daughter found out today that she was accepted. This was the first college that she had heard from, so excitement level was high.

Good luck to all those still waiting.

What is the academic reputation of USD? We are OOS-Int’l, hence the ques. Looking for Comp Science major.

I got in lol.

Daughter received her acceptance on Monday 12/14. There is another thread here that you might want to take a look at.

No, her mysandiego portal did not, and still has not changed at all, so no way to tell on the portal that she was accepted. There is good info there on the portal about financial aid, too.

looks like Financial aid notifications come in late spring. this is from the USD website

FINANCIAL AID AWARD NOTIFICATIONS
• USD normally begins sending e-mail notifications to freshmen and undergraduate transfer students detailing how to view their Financial Aid Award on the MySanDiego Portal around the first week of March of each year. All priority freshmen applicants will be awarded by May 1, 2010. See portal information starting on page 15.
• USD does not prepare awards for students who have not been admitted.

I got in!!! Is anybody planning on going there? I stil don’t know that much about the school… Has anybody visited?

Congrats!! I’m going there but I’ll be commuting from home since I live only 15mins north. The school is beautiful and I’m looking forward to getting there in Jan! I’ll be a bio major, what about you guys?

PS: I made a facebook group for those of us that are transferring, join up!!

If that link doesn’t work just search “USD Transfer Spring 2010” and you should be able to find it.

I got in!! yayy. USD is in my top three along with Santa Clara and Pepperdine! Waiting to hear back from Pepperdine to make final visits/decisions!

prettynpink I’m in the same situation!! for me its Pepperdine for #1 choice, and then either Chapman or USD. I’ll prbly make some visits over spring break if I don’t get into Pepperdine to choose between the other two… Too bad we have to wait till April 1 for Pep!!
