Anybody else still waiting for lmu?

seems like pretty much everyone got accepted already. if i never heard back yet, does that mean im rejected/waitlisted?

I haven’t heard back either way yet. And I know there are a few people who have also not heard. It sucks, but we should probably hear this week.

I know a few people who heard they were accepted really late- it all depends on your major.

Still waiting…

sigh

So tired of seeing that “Currently Under Review”.

Any political science majors still waiting?

I’m still waiting bio major… I’m very upset this is my top choice school and the waiting is making me go crazy. I called the office panicked because the MyPaw site does not work and the only advice was “well you will definitely get a letter at some point” I’ve heard some horror stories about never receiving that letter.

I’m still waiting as well–chem major

Another day to obsessively check MyPaw. Initially I thought “Rolling Admissions” sounded great. Now? Not so much. I’m sorry your portal isn’t working purplehellokitty. That’s got to be really frustrating.

Same here, hopeful. I was under the apparently naive notion that I would hear back in a month :frowning: I hope I hear before I visit at the end of this week! But it says that financial aid decisions come out on the 30th so logically all decisions should be out by then, right?

Hi, my son received his acceptance letter on March 22nd. He did not receive any merit scholarships though. We live in New York if that helps. Good luck!

Oh my god you’re in NY too? I’m going to stalk my postman and ask my neighbor if she stole my mail.

My D applied in November and got deferred EA as a sociology major. We are in CT and still anxiously awaiting!

Same deal for my son, no letter, no update online. Systems management major. Live in Washington state and I’ve been stalking the postman too, the mail is being delivered!

Kind of odd for this one, we thought they’d actually notify him early. High SATs, thoughtful essays, over 1,000 hrs volunteer time, thought he’d be a very strong applicant with merit aid. Didn’t ask for financial aid.

Does anyone know when decisions will come out for transfers?

I’m guessing it will probably be late since I only have 15 units completed with another 15 in progress; hence, I’m predicting that they will wait until the other 15 are completed. Which won’t be until May…

Does anyone know the latest day us RD applicants would get notified? Everyone should hypothetically here by April 1st, right?

According to what I’ve read on the LMU site (which is what I do in between checking MyPaw), everyone should hear by April 1. This is torturous. I was encouraged to hear of an acceptance yesterday. It’s becoming increasingly difficult to be optimistic.

Okay, hopeful, you inspired me to go check out the mailbox, to see if the kiddo has something positive in there to give you hope. But nope, nothing but bills! And we’re only two states away. Hey, maybe they are holding off on the people who are getting really HUGE merit awards so they can put it all in the package. Gotta think positive!

LOL! I’m only 2 counties away down in San Diego. I swear I’m ready to load the car up with a sleeping bag and tent and camp out on the steps of the admissions office. OTOH - that might scare them.

for those of you who haven’t gotten a letter yet, what is your guys’ major? a friend of mine applied RD as a bio major and hasn’t gotten a letter, but I was accepted for civil engineering last week and I applied EA. I thought the decisions were rolling, but another friend of mine applied on the last day and got her acceptance two weeks prior to mine. maybe it’s by major?

My daughter is still waiting to hear from LMU (the last one). It seems like everyone who is waiting is Bio, Chem, etc. She’s a Biology major, and we thought it would not be an issue for her to get in based on her scores and grades. I’m very surprised we’ve heard nothing.
