That’s weird, your GPA should be enough and the instate weighting should make it look greater. I’d say it could be the SAT scores then, but you should be in the UCF midrange for SAT scores. I think UCF is piling everyone who applied past a certain point to be reviewed last or something. I really hope it’s not the SAT scores because I got similar scores but my gpa is on the lower end.

That’s a possibility. If you ever get in could you update me? I’ll do the same. I’ll probably send my updated transcripts today even though they have not asked for them.

My son applied end of October and we received an email stating his status had changed on 3/25/12. We logged on and it said “Congratulations…”. Your stats are similar to my son’s. He has taken 4 AP classes and honor classes. He is currently dualed enrolled. Sometimes it is not your scores but that they have to many that applied. He received his rejection letter from USF yesterday. Good luck.

My son applied the first of Jan. as soon as his 1st semester senior grades were available.
GPA is 3.36 (not sure if that’s weighted or not)
ACT of 25
SAT of 1050 Math and reading.
4 AP’s
4 years of mission trips
baseball and football.
Instate
He got in for summer at USF, spring at FSU, and we are waiting to hear from UCF still.
Your rejection from USF doesn’t make sense to me if my son got accepted.
