anybody every appeal and get in?

did anyone ever try this or has anyone ever heard of it?

i think only if you have new information is it even a possibility, but even then i think it's rare..

ilovemotts, are you speaking specifically about Tufts or any college in general?

Question, how do you create an appeal to the college?

Is the format similar to the resume?

college in general. but you should be aware that unless you somehow left out a very important fact or something substantial has occurred since you submitted your app, it's not really worth the time/false hope- it's very likely anything will come of it

and i'm not sure how you go about appealing, sorry punkiie

XD Bummer. Guess I'll be the first one to do it. ^_^

You ever consider maybe holding onto what's left of your dignity?

I do not intend to appeal my rejections, I was just curious as I had never heard of anyone thinking of appealing. Colleges generally say "we cannot discuss the details as to why you were not accepted but that every part of the application was taken into consideration blah blah blah." I guess this shows everyone's obsession with college ;)

Why hold my dignity about college rejections? I don't want to regret what I could have been if I didn't even try. =] Might as well be the guinea(?) pig.

I agree I don't want to regret what could have been either. Plus I think I was screwed.

Why are you screwed? I'm screwed. 5 out of 6 rejections. xD Come here number six! :P Give me your best rejection!

sorry: typo in the last sentence i wrote: it is very "unlikely", i didn't mean to write "likely"

Tufts will explain to you their decision in pretty great depth if you call their office but they do take appeals on their decisions. sorrry :-/ (I know this because back a year I had a friend in my graduating class try and this happened to her)
