I got mine last week. It was in the application tracking website. I even got a 12,000 Northeastern Excellence Scholarship.

Just wondering why so early and will other colleges notify applicants early too?

You applied RD?

I applied regular decision and received my decision by February 3. Northeastern is notifying many of their applicants early this year, but everyone will be notified of their status by April 1.

You might want to check out this thread: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/northeastern-university/1078579-regular-decision-early-results.html

Is hearing a decision at this point considered early for RD? It’s the only school I’m still waiting to hear back from.

Are you notified by email or do you have to check your application tracker?

I applied RD
@Worried Mom, I was notifed by an e-mail THAT DECISIONS were available in the tracker :)

if you go to this website from nu admissions:
[Northeastern Admissions: March 2010](<a href=“My Blog”>http://nuadmissions.typepad.com/ronne/2010/03/index.html)

and scroll down some, it says they began releasing decisions on March 11, 2010. If it’s the same as this year, we should begin hearing around March 10 :)

fingers crossed :)

I applied EA in October, was deferred in December, and am still waiting on results.

For anyone interested, this is the message I was sent when my EA results were available:

Dear [me],

Thank you for your application to Northeastern University. The Admission Committee has reviewed your application and your admission decision is now available on-line through our Application Status Check . You will need your NU ID and date-of-birth to access the site.

NU ID: [blah blah]

We appreciate your interest in Northeastern University.

Sincerely,

Ronn

@generic, that was also the email NU sent me

i still haven’t heard back. how do you find out online with the tracker? on the application status check it doesn’t give a decision

got a letter in the mail today from northeastern. I thought it was my decision letter, but it was just a letter saying they have my application :|

I got in like three weeks ago. A couple other friends did too

Hazeleyes… The online portal won’t show your status until your decision has been released. I think you have to wait for the email.

I also received the email that generic got a couple weeks ago.
