i think UA gives more than that because i heard a girl at my school got 9000. she was the only one that did though..

U of A offers more money, because they offered me 25K a year if I get in and ASU offered me 23 K

Are you out of state? I don't think they offer that much for in-state students, do they? congratulations! which university are you considering?

thanks. yea i'm out of state, and I think I was offered that because I got National Hispanic Scholar. And I'm considering ASU, UT, and Gerogia Tech

I applied around thanksgiving and have a GPA of 2.3 and 1290 out of 1600 on the SAT
Why does my status say "In Review" is that bad? It's been a month I should have heard back right?

Dont worry SJU72 My application said "In Review" too before it said "Accepted". Just have faith and your answer will come soon =)

everyone that applied did.

DS was accepted with a full merit scholarship of $92,000 ($23,000 a year) which includes tuition, housing, books, living expenses and possibly food. He is planning on visiting both ASU and U of A in the spring.

Anyone accepted from PA, NJ or NY? My son was accepted back in November and just wondering. If so, did you choose which orientation session you will be going to?
Thanks, lizzie

I'm from NY and got accepted. I believe I'm going to the March 20th orientation date in Tempe but not too sure yet.

I just got in for fall a week back! Im an international student staying in dubai. Any other international students here?

We already did our campus visit and absolutely loved it....so after speaking with the academic advisor, decided to go to the orientation in Philadelphia....we were told that they send the very best advisors to the off site orientations to help with all the registrations, etc. Hope this is true.....Hope others from the east coast will be going to this one....lizzie4

Does anyone know around when the Fall orientations take place for International students? Because it takes a while to get the student visa and other such documents . It usually is in august isnt it? Im clueless -_-!

Did you get assigned an academic advisor yet? She was extremely helpful to us in making our decision.

Can anyone give me a brief run down of the times and dates that orientation at ASU (any campus is fine) is available? I'm not accepted yet so I have no way of knowing.

Thanks in advance.

EDIT: Hoping to find a date when I can also attend this event and not have to travel back and forth.

Hi....where are you from? We are attending the orientation in Philadelphia on May 30th....there are several though, some in Arizona, one in Chicago and one in California....The dates are in Arizona State:

March 18 & 19
March 23 & 24
March 31, April 1
April 14, 15

Philadelphia, May 30, 31

Not sure about the other dates and times....hope this helps,
lizzie

Thank you for that, that's all the information I needed. I'm in the mountain west, so I will be attending the Arizona orientation (unless by some freak coincidence I'm accepted to an unrelated summer program at UIUC).

I GOT IN WOO
but i also got into the university of arizona

i no this is talked about all the time. but wich school is the better choice?

^ Depends on what you're studying. If you're going for pre-med, Arizona is better, basically anything else and the honors college at ASU will give you a better program overall.
