Anybody get waitlisted?

I got waitlisted to Drexel and I'm a bit confused because a lot of my friends got in with much lower stats. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone else got waitlisted/if anyone heard back from being waitlisted.

here are my stats-
ACT:25 (maybe that's why?)
GPA: 3.5 UW 4.8
Andddd both my parents went there too...

Surprising!! - especially as a legacy. What is your intended major?

Wow your grades are way over Drexel not sure how you got waitlisted

I was pretty surprised myself! haha I applied for the Criminal Justice Program. Another reason? I didn’t think it was a competitive program!

I was waitlisted as well. I applied for the Physician’s assistant Accelerated degree program(school of nursing & health professions. Is that a difficult program to get into and does anybody know about how many accepted applicants might turn down Drexel’s offer?

Drexel’s “common data set” looks to be hard to find. That’s where the real answers are. Most other colleges make it easy to find.

Perhaps they reweighted your GPA. A 4.8 WGPA on a 5.0 scale would mean you’ve taken almost all AP classes and gotten mostly A’s on them. If that’s the case, I would expect your ACTs to be higher regardless.

I was waitlisted and I was wondering if I send in my grades from the fall, or my current grades. Can I just send in the grades from fall?

I got accepted after being waitlisted! For anybody that wanted to know haha I was about to send my first semester grades in today but then saw that I got accepted!

And my school’s weighting system is weird… I’ve never taken any APs just honors.

i got accepted with a 3.05 uw gpa
1730 sats
2 Ds on transcrpit
1 extracurricalr
not hard to get in
and 3.07 w gpa
