What was it like? Did you have alot of free time? What kind of stuff was there to do at night? How did registering for classes go?

There's basically 38 or so groups where you're with about 8 other students and an orientation leader.

When you get to BC, you check in, get a folder and papers, fill out a questionnaire, you then get your room key and you can go put your stuff in the room. You then have a litttle time to walk around and go to the bookstore or look at the laptops if you haven't gotten one yet.

There's some stuff that takes place in the auditorium with everyone, otherwise most of the time you'll be in the small groups for discussions and stuff.

Registering can be good or bad, depending on which group you're in.
It's basically scheduled by fourths, 1-10 get to register, then 11-20, etc. so it depends on if you're lucky or not. (I wasn't :) 38/38)
I was the first person into the room to register out of the fourth group and I got about 1 class I wanted.

Don't worry though, because there's a workaround. All you have to do is log onto the agora.bc.edu site and you can change classes and find the ones you want. If you wait untill around 9:00 on the next Tuesday, the classes will be unlocked for the next orientation group so you can logon and snag the ones you want.

What happens at night? Can we go out or go into Boston or do they treat us like summer-campers?

Well they say not to go off campus, but my group went to get ice cream down the street.
