Meh, I will if I don't hear something by April, but really I think its somewhat normal to still be waiting, friend with about same AI who applied in Jan is still waiting as well. I'm sure the admissions office is getting enough calls from panicky kids, can't seem to justify it quite yet. Obviously takes a long time to look through all the comprehensive reviews and I guess I just got unlucky with my placement in that stack, or for one reason or another I am not in and they are just taking their time to notify me.

I got my acceptance letter on Friday March 11. The Welcome packet came yesterday.

I'm still waiting on the Naval Academy though...

Well, my app was finally reviewed and I now have an Unofficial Transcript with a student id that says ADMITTED FOR AUTUMN, 2005, so I guess that means I am in??

I had figured an AI of 65 with an average of all my HS grades, but they show it as 69 using just the transcript they got from the community college (RS) so we will see, but seems to be good.

I live in Federal Way, so how long did it take others in the Puget Sound area to get their letter?

3-4 days to get letter after going "reviewed"

Congratulations frop! I think that about does it. I don't think anyone who has been posting here has been rejected. The timing is good. Baseball season is just a few days away. Now I can focus on those things that really count; balls and strikes.

ps d got letter within 3 days. Financial aid letter just arrived today. Everything is on track. Now all I have to worry about is her free time between graduation and September 28! Having a s is a picnic compared to having a d.

My account finally changed to "review." I hope i get good news in a day or two. Wish me luck.

If it is reviewed, you should be able to know now if you were accepted by doing what other people have stated and looking at the unofficial transcript. That's if you WANT to :P

I just got in today after submitting by app on December 1st.
Stats:
Out of State
3.5 UW 3.92 W GPA
1350 SAT 660 V 690 M
Decent Essays
Solid ECs

So, I did get my acceptance letter today.
69 AI. Instate.
My ECs sorta sucked, but my essay was probably decent.

still haven't heard a word :(...status still hasn't changed from final decision pending. Anybody think this is a bad sign? I've heard this big rumor that the UW has actually filled all of its spots b now, and is just waiting to send out the rejection letters. Anybody think this is true?
Again, 3.29 uw gpa (all honors/AP), 1260 sat (690 v, 570 m), strong EC"s, good essays. (54 ai i think)

Hang in there. However, I did read in the daily some weeks ago they expected to be done with all admissions decisions by the end of March. I also had a conversation with a financial aid officer two weeks ago and she said all financial aid decisions for incoming Freshman would be finished within a few days. So, I would say you will have a decision soon. Good luck.

sigh...ok. I don't qualify for financial aid, so I won't be getting a letter. I do, however, hope I get in (or at least hear from the uw soon). I feel as though my life is on hold, and I'm finding it extremely hard to even focus on everyday things like schoolwork, tests, tennis matches, etc. A girl in my English class just got her letter yesterday: instate, 3.2, 1140, and according to her, mediocre extra-currics. That's worse than me! I'm really hoping that it's a good sign, that I have a chance too. I've invested so much emotion and energy into the UW...I really hope it pays off.
God, I can't wait till June...no more AP tests, no more real schoolwork, and I'll know where I'm going!

It is hard to imagine you wouldn't get in given the results of your friend above.

Yay! Accepted to Honors program as sophomore!

compared to USC, UW sends out its acceptance letters pretty slow
