Anybody hear yet?

Hurrah! More ED admits!

Can't wait to see some of you next fall!

Congratulations RainBloodRoses! Glad to hear the good news!

can u guys post ur stats if u dont mind along with ur decision?

1340, 29 ACT, top 5% at competitive public HS in NJ, great RECS and amazing ECs

For everyone who got in, where do you live? I'm hoping near New York, because I still havent heard anything, and I'm from california. When do you think I will find out by?!

well if you get in it is sent priority which means about 3 days anywhere in the U.S., so if you got in I would expect tomorrow or Friday at the latest. Things are kinda slow because it is the holiday season

see thats what i thought! the only thing is i was reading prior posts on this thread, and lady amalthea said she got hers first class (and she got in), which would take several days longer.

I got in too, and it came priority mail. I woudn't worry about it, I bet you well get a big package tomorrow!! Four people from my school got in. How crazy is that?!?!

Thats insane! most people at my school have never even heard of barnard, and I'm the only one i know who applied early decision. I only know one other girl who is even applying regular decision!

XD Don't worry Cate. You live in California, right? The envelope should arrive a little later for you than it did for me. (I live about 12 miles away from Barnard.) We only had 2 ED applicants, but most of the girls in my school seem to be thinking about applying RD. We had 28 last year, but from what I heard, the number is expected to increase.

for those of you who got in can you please post your stats, also what does the envelope look like???? hahaha thanks

My stats can be found in the 'Asians at Barnard' thread. To summarize: 1400 SATs, 32 ACTs, 3.6 unweighted GPA, all honors and APs classes since freshman year, competitive public school, good ECs and recs.

I received my letter in one of those priority mail cardboard envelopes. (I'm sorry - is first class and priority mail the same thing? I get confused.) Inside was a light green and dark grey folder of sorts. When you open it, the acceptance letter is the first thing you see. : )
