I read on UC Berkeley’s website somewhere that they send out the confirmation emails in early-mid January, so dont expect to get them anytime soon, lol.

I got only from UCSD and UCI(UCI gave student ID number and stuff, but UCSD just said we’re happy to have your application!LOL)

I got one from UCSC and Davis but not UCSB, is there any reason to worry?

@Cayton You have no idea how relieved I am to hear that.

I’ve gotten word back from:
UCSC (dec. 12)
UCLA (dec. 13)
UCD (dec. 19)

but thus far nothing back from UCSB or UCB.

Just out of curiosity, has anyone heard back from UCSB yet?

@Anthroflo

No problem. Here’s where Berkeley said they will send out confirmation emails in January:

I haven’t heard from UCI. Is that normal?

@awevicsum

Yeah, don’t worry about it.

Has everyone received an email from UCI? I still haven’t received one yet. :/

@awev,

I’ve gotten a few e-mails from them so far. I’m sure you aren’t the only one. They go out in random cycles I think.

I have yet to receive an email from UCSD… This is the only school that hasn’t contacted me yet (Applied to UCD, UCI, UCSC, UCSD). Should I be worried at all or contacting someone about this? If so, who? Thanks.

@mvillas21,

Hey, I got an e-mail conformation from UCSD over a month ago. I have no idea if you should be worried. It wouldn’t hurt to call.

Very soon, considering we’re more or less in the middle of January yet. Don’t worry about it yet.

I think OP was worried because he didn’t get the e-mail that contained the message you posted.

Hey @mvillas21, I didn’t apply to UCSD so I’m not sure how their system works but if you are concerned I would highly recommend calling (not emailing!) the admissions office.

I did this when I was worried about not getting my email from UCSB, they asked me my application ID number and then they told me that I was on file with them and that I would get an email soon and I got one the next day.

Hope it works out for you!

Thanks for the replies everyone! I’ll give them a call and see what they have to say. Hope everyone is having a good quarter (or semester)!

So far I got emails from UCSD, UCB, UCI and UCSB, all campuses I applied for…but I did not make an account in UCSD website!!! I mean they just confirmed they have my application, but they did not give me a username and password to create an account like all other UCs did!! Is it just me or the same thing for all of us?!

If you carefully read your email that you got from UCSD, you will have the answer to your question.
