<p>His status on PointWeb changed on Thursday to say “Academic Acceptance letter” sent…but when I called Admissions to ask about this, they told me it was a data-input clerical error and I should disregard it. He had already been academically accepted back in October. (And I have not received any such letter recently). So I called the Conservatory office and they told me they were waiting on the Department Head to return this week to make final decisions on Atlanta auditions. That’s all the info they would give…so…??? I am assuming that perhaps rejection notices may have also already been sent but you can’t second-guess this, especially since they will not give out any information over the phone. :/</p>

<p>My S auditioned for theatre in Atlanta in Dec and he was Deferred (found out two weeks ago). Academically accepted, though…</p>
<p>Well clearly this must mean he was not deferred or waitlisted, but I don’t know if that’s good news or bad news LOL. I will just wait on the postman, I suppose!! In the meantime, moving on to the NEXT audition, which is Shenandoah on Saturday. Keep the faith, everyone!</p>

<p>STILL no news from PPU December 15 Atlanta auditions…anyone heard of ANYONE getting accepted or rejected? Or is the news all about wait list? I hate to call Conservatory office again, but if we don’t get something soon I guess I will. Clearly they don’t know how much we need to know these things haha!!</p>

<p>I believe we should be hearing something soon - my son was “on hold” after Atlanta and I understood they were going to be making some decisions by the end of this month after Unifieds were over. That’s all I really know…but would love to get some info soon!</p>
<p>My daughter auditioned less than 2 weeks ago at Chicago Unifieds. She has been academically accepted, but I’m not holding my breath for an artistic decision any time soon… I believe there are still on campus auditions this and next month. So, we wait!</p>
<p>mcpcwhite I know you have been waiting so long for an answer— Hope your S gets accepted! My D and husband visited campus last Friday and loved it! She was really impressed with the MT class she sat in on, the dance facilities and the program and faculty over-all. She is still not sure how she feels about a downtown campus vs. the “full university experience”. I guess we will see where all her acceptances are and weigh all the pros and cons. My D still has several more on-campus auditions to do and several other schools that do not make decisions till mid/end of March that she is waiting to hear from.

<p>So glad to hear that mtgirl! Yes I had an email exchange with the recruiting office and found out my son is “on hold” (which is a good thing!). I am happy to know that your D loved the campus! We are in the same position – just waiting on the mailman everyday until that day in the not-too-distant future when we can sit down with all the info in front of us and begin to make some plans. Yes, it is stressful and the waiting is really difficult, so just trying to enjoy this time now that the last of the auditions are over!</p>
<p>Did you have to get in contact with them to find out if you’re “on-hold” or did you find out through PointWeb/a letter received by mail?</p>

<p>Hi djexpress - the status says “admitted to the program?” There is a notice on Pointweb that says for conservatory students, the status is academic only and to contact the Conservatory office for information. Yes, very confusing indeed. We’ve been waiting since December!</p>
<p>My status has not changed on Point Web, all decisions are by mail I think.</p>
<p>I got my acceptance letter in the mail today. I will have to visit before I make the final decision.</p>
<p>Yes my son FINALLY received letter yesterday with very nice scholarship offer. Definitely excited about this!</p>
