I put in my app in December, got email from them on the 29th saying that they have received my application, and now I'm dying waiting. Anybody heard more from them?

Bumpity-bump!

I already applied, haven't heard anything except that they had received my application. I don't really expect anything back till May which is when they are supposed to send out their decision letters, correct?

When I applied last year, I received my notification in mid-March.

Good luck!!!

Mid-March? William and Mary lets you turn in mid-semester grades by mid-march, how could they decide so soon? Maybe it's different this year?

Do they require the midterm grades before they give decisions? The deadline to submit application and other stuff is before the midterms?!

W&M midterm deadline is March 28th.

And are the midterms absolutelu positively required, even though I selected early decision in my application?

I am not sure that they have early decision for transfer students but William and Mary has stated that they mail out their transfer decisions April 15. Since it's a small college, they'll probably mail them out earlier.

I just talked with my counselor today, and she told me that my community college does NOT send midterm reports to other schools. It's just something they don't do. I wonder how W&M will take this news...

anselmo1 - when I applied last year, I went to each professor with my class list and asked for a letter grade estimation with each professor's signature next to the grade. It was more of a makeshift midterm report, but W & M admissions office said it was the proper thing to do.

Pantera \m/

Bumping this, because WM said that decisions would be sent by April 15, we are only a little more than a week away. Did anyone hear anything yet?

A fellow WM hopeful and a friend sent this link to me:

Admissions: Public Four-Year Institution Profile - B8

That should give some sort of indication on the acceptance trends for the past few years.

PS. Thanks for bumping this up, sudstar. :)

Nice link, WM has a 53% acceptance rate for instate transfers. :)

Let's hope we get in.

From a previous thread, one person said that they will be sending the decisions out soon. Like sudstar said, let's hope we get in. :) I try not to let my nerves get the best of me but I want to find out soon, we're almost there.

thank you - that was a great link - very helpful

OH NO!! I didnt send my mid-semester grades in. I going to call first thing today and get talk to them. Has anyone gotten accepted without sending in their mis-semester grades? I have great credentials, and great grades atm with my current classes.

Yea - id like to hear from anyone whos gotten there letter ...so let us know asap!

ercmilla, what did they say when you called? Best of luck to you!

Ercmilla, we didn't hear what happened and I am very much interested to hear if there is any news.

Also, I contacted them yesterday and they said they haven't sent out any letters yet. :( I remember someone stating that they were going to be out last week or this week. Hopefully they will be sent out soon unless did anyone hear any information from William and Mary?
