<p>Got notified this morning that I got accepted by Canterbury. Haha...relieved so much now. How about anyone else hearing early? (Still haven't heard back from the other schools)</p>

<p>I heard that students living close to Peddie received decisions from on the 8th and 9th…</p>
<p>My son heard indirectly from 2 of 3 schools this week. Students in the admissions office sent him emails stating that an admission officer (each schools person responsible for athletic recruiting) requested they contact my son. Here’s an excerpt from one:</p>
<p>“<name>,an admissions officer, mentioned to me that you were someone the school had interest in as a possible student next year. He asked me to reach out and answer any questions you might have.”</name></p>
<p>This late in the process if he were not already accepted. I would assume it will be good news next week from those schools.</p>

<p>As part of full disclosure, my son was accepted at all three schools last year as well. Maybe they are just trying to close the deal this year.</p>
<p>My friend got accepted to sps earlier this week because she won a scholarship there.</p>
<p>Ditto Walden, my friend’s son also got the scholarship to SPS this week.</p>
<p>I think the question on many people’s mind is, “Has anyone who is a FA applicant heard from any schools lately?”</p>

<p>I’ve heard from a school (through my father) that they are trying to “give Saer as much financial aid as I think she deserves”. I think it’s a good sign!</p>
<p>Has anybody heard whether they’ve been awarded the Classics scholarship at SPS?</p>
<p>CAKBS: I read this as the schools WANT to accept your son again but maybe are trying to measure his interest in order to protect their yield? If he is going to opt not to enroll again maybe they would rather waitlist him so they are throwing line out to see if he bites or not. For ex: if your son emailed back to the student and said , well I don’t think I want to go this yr either or I like this other rival school better, they may WL your son instead of accept to protect their yield.</p>
