Anybody in the wait list too?

Does anybody know how many people are offered wait list offer this year?
Is it possible to off-waitlist this year?

I got waitlisted by Georgetown SFS. It has always been my dream school so I will accept the waitlisting spot. Judging from the recent acceptance rate of Waiting List candidates, I think the chance to off-waitlist is very slim. However, it doesnt harm to try.

Wait listed by the College. I really hope the wait list acceptance numbers don’t dip below 10% or worse become like 2011 where no one was admitted

I was waitlisted to MSB! I hope it’s not like three years ago, when 0 people got off the waitlist for any of the schools. They said we were welcome to send in additional info…are you guys sending anything?

Waitlisted by NHS… accepted my spot because this is my favorite school ever! I hope it is not like last year, when they accepted NONE of the waitlisters :(( !
@godiva123 I know that if anything relevant or interesting happens in my life, I am definitely sending it! Also, I might send an additional letter of recommendation or something else, but I’m not sure yet…

Also, does anyone know if Georgetown has admission counselors? I cannot seem to find any information online…

Waitlisted by College.

Admissions expects to accept 50 students from the waitlist this year (<a href=“16.6% Admitted to Class of 2018”>http://www.thehoya.com/16-6-admitted-to-class-of-2018/</a>)

waitlisted at MSB! sigh…

Georgetown has admissions officers. Their info is generally not openly available in order to cut down on their spam levels, although it’s not a big secret or anything like that. If you want to speak to someone, just call the admissions office during business hours and ask to speak to the admissions officer on duty.
