Anybody know what they want to do as a career?

As of the past year or so...Corporate Lawyer

therapy.. or medicine? idk.

I have no idea. Teetering on the lines of meteorology, biology and a lot of other things. I think 18 is too young for me to settle down into once niche, I want to see what's out there.

Writer/Professor/Filmmaker

I think I would like to be a diplomat (major in anthropology and political science) as well as an author. If I got into publishing, though---like you, em---I don't think I would be too unhappy.

yeah, i wouldn't be too unhappy being an author, either-
don't think i have it in me, though.

other careers i've considered, only some seriously:
filmmaker
graphic designer
journalist
mail carrier
pro tennis player

either teaching english in a foreign country, or teaching a foreign language here.

Bioethicist

I think I want to be a pediatric emergency room doctor.

It seems a tad overdone, but I would kill to be an author. A successful novelist. Wow, that looks amazing just typing it.

Well, the current plan is: neuroscience, work in that for a few years, and write my book at the same time. Once I hit the NYT bestseller list, then I retire to full-time writing. Now that's what I'm talking about.

I want to get into the law, specifically litigation. Transactional work doesn't really appeal to me although I wouldn't mind doing it. I'm still debating whether I want to do criminal law or civil law but I'm leaning heavily towards civil law.

There's alot of different careers on this thread ;) It's gooooooooood

I have no idea. I would want to go into business and finance or something, but what I really love to do is something with computers. Like computer engineering or software engineering. I just don't know what jobs would pay as good as something in business.

environmental law/ environmental journalism?

I'm pretty sure I want to get a PhD in biochemistry and work on cancer research. That's kind of been my passion since taking bio my freshman year. Before then I wanted to be a diplomat to Russia :). I wonder how I'll turn out.

i dont know yet, but i think i want to be an educator.
preferably at a first tier university. ;)
but i dont know what field yet...:/

I know exactly what I will not like doing; I also know what I want to
try doing...but its a wide scope horizon....

;)

Sports Radio/TV Broadcasting
Sports Journalism
Anything in the business side of sports (front office, etc.)

Environmental Law

probably finance. I want to be a hedge fund manager, make a large sum of money, and then retire to become a politician.

Yeah, that sounds like it.

international law for the UN or something like that

I've always wanted to get a PhD in biology and work on a topic that interests me. Microbiology, especially prions, is fascinating, but I also like ecology and evolutionary biology.
