I'm likely going to be graduating alone next year, even more awkwardly I'll be "stealing" the honor of the "first class" from everyone else. I asked my school to come back the following year and walk, but apparently they will insist on having my own graduation ceremony.

I don't want to go...I have to give a big-*** speech!

My class has only 85 people so mine will last like 15 minutes.

Wow, I'm currently a junior and my class seems to be well under 200.

California High School, Whittier California, Graduation night- We were Baja bound, in search of the perfect wave. Things were different back in the 70's.

I definitely want to go. What I'm not looking forward to is my relatives coming up and being forced to deal with them. I like my cousin from KY and her family, but besides that, I don't like anyone who will be coming. I mean my extended family. I like my sisters and brothers and my niece. But my father is going to invite all of his family members about whom I really don't care and I'm going to have to try to figure out how to get them all extra tickets. The only extended family members I want to come are either dead (my maternal grand and great grand parents) or just probably not coming (my aunt, who gave me like half of my college money because she has a college account for me, and her family). My aunt didn't come to my sister's graduation, so she's probably not coming to this one. Ugh.
