Anybody play board games or card games?

I saw another thread about video games, which got me thinking about board games and card games. Does anybody play them? And which ones? We like Risk, Rummikub,Taboo and Apples to Apples. We used to play Spades, not so much any more.

Yes. My friends and I used to play Agricola, Puerto Rico, Settlers of Catan, and Power Grid.

Apples to Apples seems like an exceedingly appropriate game to play with a small group of college friends who want to chill out on a quiet night.

I tried learning and playing Runebound while stoned one time. Bad idea.

you will find people whopla all sorts of board games

I play a mean game of Risk. I also have a little bit of chess talent, but I’m always looking to get better.

I haven’t played Magic The Gathering in a while, but some people in my hall have been playing so might dust off the cards.

Apples to Apples is an excellent, easy-to-learn game at a party/in a small group setting. It’s always a lot of fun.

Taboo is awesome.

Yeah, there’s an entire club at my school dedicated to playing card games. On motorcycles.

Phase 10, Uno, Monopoly (but boy do my friends and I get vicious when playing that! haha), and others…
then in my Creative Writing Club we usually have a game night a few times, where we’ll play Boxers or Briefs, and Cranium.

I don’t play many card games, but I LOVE board games. I frequently play Scrabble (and lose), Aggravation, Sorry!, and Monopoly.

Also, what do Jenga & Mancala count as? Board games? I play those a lot too:)

I had a teacher in high school who had over 1000 board games.

If you want some fun ones, check out Board Game Geek. It’s a great website.

There are some really fun, but unusual ones out there! Things like Sorry!, Monopoly, and Scrabble get old in my opinion, so it’s kind of fun to play a game that no one has ever heard of.

Love board games and make them myself to sell (not a business but a way to make a little $). I also love when people take board games and turn them into computer games. Anyone that likes risk but desires new maps check out this website [Play online. Risk your game. Conquer Club.](http://www.conquerclub.com/)

Edit:
Love Settlers of Catan (also played in BBT)
Also http://www.worldrebellion.org/</a> is a great website as well for risk
