Anybody stressed out, post:

1) Reason why

2) Any advice for those of us going through it right now?

1) My UCLA admission is not 100% sure yet...

1.financial aid really, really sucks.

2.you tell me :( most likely working 3 jobs this summer.

lol... lilomui, I don't know but I'm gonna go out and catch a movie or something to get my mind out of my UCLA decision pending. ;)

Iv'e got to take out $8,000 in loans for UCLA if I'm in.

^$8000 ...yeouch, but mine is almost double your amount :(

Borderline grades of (C/B) in Calc and Chem. 2 tests left and each+final

Study as much as the body allows, hope it will all be over soon.

Im still waiting for Virginia Tech and UMD. Also Miami said they wanted my second semester grades so I really have to do good on these finals.

Even though I am taking two courses pass/fail this semester.....only one being IGETC, I still have to pass them and by now....I'm just not wanting to do any school work, to be honest. ;-)

are u allowed to take clases as pass/no pass for the igetc?

i am stress out because of sceduling reasons. 6:30 in the morning and go home 11:30 at night.

I don't know if I should go to ucb, ucsd or stay at community college for another year to apply ucla...

I seriously cannot decide between UCLA and UCSD

and I'm barely scraping by in zoology.

yidong, if i were u, i'd immediately cross out the staying at CC choice. :)

yidong, i second what highschooda says
u got into UCB (top public university nationwide) not everything works out as planned, but im sure u knew that before posting

1) UCLA Vs. UCSD (if i get into ucsd that is !)

2) All my friends who have transfered to UCLA and UCSD say engineering is damnnnnnn tough at both these colleges. The students are ready to kill each other through the curves. Some comp sci professors tell them openly that the some computer projects will require 30-40 hrs in front of the computer ::eek:: I am afraid that I will loose my 4.0 major GPA and become a 2.5'er or something. Im afraid I will not be accepted into my dream (Ivy) grad schools...ohh well, life is tough. I will give in my 100% :)

yea...I should not make the choice of staying at cc...sounds silly huh?!

now ucb weights 70% and ucsd weights 50%...cross out davis already!

Can't decide between staying at USC and going to William and Mary

FINALS!

1) Lame financial aid, sticky family problems.
2) Take note of what's going on, do what you can, and move on. Things change too much to stress yourself out over something so little.

Don't be anxious for things you can't change.....change the things you can, and be happy in whatever choices you make and take responsibility for your mistakes.....

other than that, I'm just trying to figure out housing right now....and a summer job. ;-)

Look at Answers for Transfers....yes, of course you can take IGETC CR/NC. Up to 14 units, I believe. I'm just taking a Bio class online, with lab. It's a lot of fun....you go to the beach and collect shells and seaweed and study up on other aspects of nature. An easy class....since I hate science....lol.
