<p>Hopefully this thread gives some hope to waitlistees like myself and gives us a rough idea of how many spots we're fighting for :P</p>
<p>It’s not like for every person that doesn’t accept, they will accept someone from the waitlist. It’s how many people below the amount they expected would attend.</p>
<p>@ Arzachel: That’s true. Schools do expect that a certain number of students will choose another school over themselves, don’t they?</p>
<p>Still though, inside me, I feel that I’m just hoping that one of those spots will open up for students like myself from the waiting list.</p>
