I got in! (10 char)

Congrats! I still didn't get my letter yet, odd, since I live an hour away...

Thanks! Mine was delivered today and i live about 40 minutes away.

It's just through regular mail service right? And what does the envelope for an acceptance letter look like?

Yeah, it is through regular mail. The envelope is big and white and says "Admissions Decision Notification" on it.

Hopefully I'll get my decision tomorrow.

Congrats cmu hopeful! Any mention of scholarship money in there?

Thanks! No, there was no scholarship offer. Does anyone know if scholarship offers come with the acceptance or later?

Yes, I got my acceptance! It was in the mailbox yesterday 12/14.
Got a merit scholarship award letter, too. It was in the same envelope. I'M SO HAPPY!!
I think my parents have to file the financial info (CSS profile?) and FAFSA to get need-based financial aid.
Good luck to everyone...

Ahh, still no letter, I wonder what is going on!?

I got in! I got the letter a day early, but I live in Worcester, so it didn't have far to go. I guess no merit scholarships for me, nothing came in the envelope.

Anyone know what they're based on? I never submitted my ACT scores or anything, so they probably think I'm an idiot over there haha.

sweeter,
This is from the WPI forum:

"Some students are notified of merit scholarships at the point of admission, however others may hear within the next few weeks. It is dependent on how fast selections are made by our various scholarship committees."

Congrats on your acceptance. My son received his acceptance today.

Congrats to everyone who was accepted!

.........still waiting. Oh well.

.......same........lol......perhaps it's just the local mail systems in our areas :-P

Thanks weenie, and congrats to your son!
