I applied late September and my app is still being processed.

I did
I found out about 2 weeks ago, but I still know a lot of people who are still waiting…

I’m still waiting too. I think they’re considering everyone in the pool, so it’s going to take a while.

Actually I was accepted early November.

My friend was accepted last Wednesday. He applied the end of October.

What are your friends’ credentials?

STILL waiting and I sent my application early october. I really thought they would have a decision by now…the regular decision deadline has already passed. :-/ I’m sick of the waiting! Even if I’m rejected, I just want to know the decision… ahhh

just found out i got in. applied like late november. i’m out of state too. :)

:) just got in! YAyyyYYY i’m instate

I just got in 2 days ago. I’m OOS, so I’m happy :D

Their Pharmacy admissions process seems a little odd in general. There are people like myself who applied ON the November 1st deadline and already found out and then there are people who applied in september and haven’t found out.

I would like to think that those who already have been admitted are more qualified but I don’t think that’s the case as I was already accepted with a 33 ACT (=to a 2180 SAT) 4.21 weighted and 3.88 unweighted which I didn’t think was that good since I thought the pharmacy school was super hard to get into. Plus, my essay and extracurriculars aren’t fantastic so I think they rely heavily on grades & scores, but wouldn’t that mean that people would have heard already if that’s all they look at?

It seems a little odd but I would just keep checking your status everyday. According to their website you will hear no later than January 31 so just keep checking.

Good luck!!!

ugh I’m in the same boat applied oct. 20 and still haven’t heard back even though i have a 2250 sat and 3.8 UW 4.8 W gpa, but I’m OOS i guess oh well, at least we’ll hear back earlier than regular decision

011lxu,

That’s really interesting and a perfect example of their strange notification process:

Not only did you apply before me, but you have a higher SAT and GPA than I do but I found out first…very strange. And I’m out of state too so i don’t think that really matters.

don’t worry guys!
last year i applied in September and didn’t get notified until February that I had been admitted… just be patient

Hi I checked my Rutgers status today and the last school I need to hear from is the pharmacy program. I am a senior in high school. It says ‘Interview Requested’. Does anybody know exactly what happens in the interview?

Not sure about the Interview, but I think you are just one step away from a decision. When you go there, I’d suggest that you express why you want to do pharmacy (not for the money fyi), what got you interested in it, what fields you might be interested in, and be genuine.

I thought interviews were only for transfer students?

I also applied in early September and am waiting for a decision… Got a 1990 SAT score and 4.5 weighted gpa (maybe my sat score is too low?)

So did I, and I called and asked how the interview would be set up and they said they would contact me in a few weeks when they get everything sorted. That is why I was wondering because people were saying they got admitted not an interview so I was confused. Thank you for your reply

Hey, I applied in early Oct. and my status has been in progress until last night. I got waitlisted. Will I still hear back before Jan. 31?

Waitlisted too. This sucks =(
