<p>There has been a few acceptance in the uci thread and they were 3.9 gpa+ </p>
<p>i’m assuming they are holding off on sending acceptance/rejection to the rest to see what type of early yield they get so they can determine the number of slots</p>

<p>Exactly what my theory is! There are only approx. 15 slots though…So I’m guessing they chose like 15 people already from their list and those people were like top 15 from CCCs…now they’re gonna wait till those people decide to go to Haas/UCLA Bus. Econ (LOL)…then once those 15 people decide not to go to UCI, UCI will going to ask/accept the next 15 people on their list…this process will continue until all the slots are filled and UCI has the best pool of amdits they could possibly have that then submit a SIR…I think in the end, students that do go to UCI will be very, highly qualified, but will have been turned down by Haas/UCLA.</p>
<p>I personally applied as a change of major (I already go to UCI) and am hoping I get in. Would love to see some of you at UCI in the future!</p>
<p>What’s interesting thought is that us change of major applicants don’t get a decision until June 30th!!! The wait is gonna kill me!</p>
<p>So I think anyone still pending is going to remain pending…at least until UCB decisions come out ;)</p>
