Just wanted to know if anyone got their admissions decision yet for regular decision applicants

My daughter has not heard anything yet. I wonder what date they usually notify RD applicants? I know they say by April 1st, but most schools notify before that date.

Still waiting in Maryland…

Nope im still waiting also

Ya, i applied october 13th but on the CA i pressed Reg. Decision on accident. So i have to wait till April 1st. I hope that they get back to us sooner! Im pretty sure that im going to UMD but I wanted to know what kind of $$ theyd offer

Son was deferred from early action to regular, and got the “thanks but no thanks” letter today. We are OOS. Good luck to everyone!!!

can I ask what his stats were? gpa, sat, and act? I was also deferred and have not heard back yet. Just curious about my chances, I am also out of state. Thanks

He had a 3.6 gpa and an 1140 SAT. Tons of EC, and a job since Sophomore year. His twin sister got in with exactly the same gpa, tons of EC, job since Sophomore year, but her SAT was 1240. She got in early action. Good luck to you!!

I have a 1060 SAT and just recently took the ACT’s and got a composite 24 and also a 24 on the writing part. I have had a job since the beginning of junior year. I have a 3.8 uw gpa and a 4.63 weighted gpa. Im taking 3 AP classes this year and kept all A’s and B’s first semester of my senior year. I am mostly worried about my low SAT scores … I was deferred early action, what do you guys think about my chances of admission? (I was deferred before I had taken the ACT’s, do you think this will improve my chances?) I am also out of state.

A friend’s daughter was deferred from EA to RD and got denied yesterday (OOS, Maryland.) My daughter (OOS, Maryland) was also deferred EA to RD but she didn’t get a letter in yesterday’s mail.

Got my acceptance letter in the mail today! Only thing is it didn’t have any scholarship information on it. Turns out that you have to apply separately for scholarships in April! Sucks

Congrats! Double check that scholarship date. My daughter applied in December for scholarships. We were told we would hear in April.

My son got deferred also and we have not yet heard. I hate this waiting! He has wanted to go to UNCW since he was 12. Hopefully, we will hear soon. Need to move forward in our college planning.

My daughter was admitted today for spring admission. She has no interest in spring admission and she got into Pitt a month ago, so UNCW is now off her list. Best of luck to everyone else still waiting!

BlueHen89…our situations have been remarkably similar. My daughter also received her acceptance today…for Spring 2013. She wasn’t home when the mail came so I mistakenly hyped her up by calling her and telling her she got the “big envelope” from UNCW. Boy, did I feel low when she asked me to open it and read it to her :(
