<p>Haha well..this forum's a bit dead. I got accepted under a VIP app. (which was awesome..like, 3 pages. Gotta love those things.) and I'm just wondering if anyone else is already accepted/applying/etc.</p>
<p>I don't know much about UVM but from what I hear it's a great place! Started out as a safety for me but I really wouldn't mind going there..</p>

<p>Hi! I just found out I was accepted VIP a few days ago. Wasnt it the perfect safety? A free, short application, and a decision in a few weeks! </p>
<p>It was pretty much a safety for me too, but I wouldn't mind going there at all...i really liked it when I visited.</p>

<p>Seriously! I actually got my decision a week after I sent my app. in LOL. I was like, wow, they must like these VIP applicants. I haven't visited, and I don't really plan to unless I decide to go there :D. What did you like about it?</p>
<p>Well, since I got into UVM, the schools I'm applying to are competitive since I figure I have this to fall back on, LOL: Vassar, Brown, UVa, William & Mary, Binghamton, Boston College, Skidmore, and NYU (I've been taking classes there since last year, and I love it but I'd have to commute because it's waaay expensive).</p>
<p>What about you? Where are you from and stuff? Did you notice how the link to the admitted students website is still for the '09 students? Haha.</p>
<p>Burlington's a nice college town, and it had a really nice campus and the people seemed friendly. And the area outside of burlington is beautiful--lake champlain and mountains!</p>

Middlebury
Macalester
BU
and possibly a few others.</p>

<p>I didn't, and I have a feeling those who did receive a scholarship were notified already. But yeah, it seems a little strange for a school to almost beg you to go there and not give any money..</p>

<p>Mishy with your stats if you didnt get one that makes me feel better- they probably havent sent them out yet you think a 700-Math 580-V 590-W with a 3.6 gpa will get one. vermont was my safety school but the more i look into it the more i like it and i like the programs they offer, and i dont think there is a better place to live for teh enxt four years better than burlington i hope i get some money!</p>

<p>UVM accepts something like 80% of those that apply. Although they have said that they are trying to become a public ivy so I imagine that they will start to crack down on the admission rate but then again I could be completely wrong. I got in last year with decent stats.</p>

<p>Yea you should be I got in Early Action with pretty much the same stats last year on the old SAT. Had a similar GPA too.</p>

I got a 1110 (580m)(530V) and an 89gpa
so do you think uvm will accept me?
The best school i got into so far was quinnapiac and thats competetive so i think if i can get in there i can at uvm, wat u think?</p>

SO MY DAD ASKED HIM TO WRITE A LETTER TO UVM ASKING TO LET ME IN AND THEY SAID THEYD TAKE THAT INTO ACCOUNT!!!!!!!</p>
<p>wow thats awsome... yea i love to read, i am not much of the math man (although i did win my schools math award, i think its cause i tried so ****ign hard) yea i snowboard and ski, and i also play hockey...thats why i think UVM would be perfect for me. I am from bucks county PA (origionally from NJ) i now live on the deleware river.</p>
