and hear back yet? just wondering

appealed…and still haven’t heard back yet, they say you’ll know by the 13th

still waiting

I sent in a late application for fall along with a letter to Admissions, so I suppose that counts as an appeal. My original plan was to apply for winter 2010, so it isn’t a huge deal if I’m not accepted for fall. It sure would make my year if I didn’t have to wait though.

do you hear back via ucsc portal or mail?

Just wishing you all luck with your appeals!

I got my appeal for late application letter back: “Unfortunately … , we are unable to grant your request.” It doesn’t matter, this next part is what matters to me:

“Should you wish to consider applying to UCSC for a future term, our campus will be accepting applications from junior-level students in July for our winter 2010 quarter.”

That takes a load off of my mind.

Sorry to hear that. Im still waiitng on mine! Im scared!!

which college are you appealing to?

I’m still waiting for mine…hopefully this won’t be dragged to Sunday. But whatever I don’t really care if I get rejected again…haha

still waiting… and it’s killing me

are they letters or on the portal?

i think most are on the portal. Six days until Davis is supposed to say!

is there freshman admission for winter 2010?

I think that there is, but only if you are entering as a first time freshman. Which means you will have to wait until they open applications (I would call to make sure). You also would not be able to attend another univeristy in the mean time. But I do beileve it’s possible.

I graduated early from HS and by the end of this semester I will have around 30 units already.

probably 46 by winter/spring

Then you should ask your counsler at the college you are going to or contact the admissions people for the college you want to transfer to. With that many credits you may be able to come in as a transfer and not a freshman.

my friend had an appeal to ucsc this year, and it worked!

WOW! The already released the decisions for UCSC? I can’t wait for tomorrow for UCD to release theirs!
