Anyone appealing to UCB?

UCBorUCLA, sorry to hear that. No worries though, LA is a great place. We'll have a blast there!

Thanks
My friends just called and they got rejected too. I wonder how many transfers get in on appeal. It seems like everyone is rejected...

^^
id always heard its like 1-2 percent of appeals actually get a person in.

Im off to Davis!!! Woot!! #1 Genetics program in the Nation!!

[/quote]

Hate to break it to you, Davis' genetics program is not the best in the nation. Genetics is unranked at the undergraduate level. At the graduate level, Davis' genetics is quite a few notches below those of UCSF, Harvard, Stanford, Yale, JHU, and the likes.

errr....I'm still waiting...

laurenr - u have a good chance
good luck to ya

Hmm...I know that undergrad is unranked, but my UC Davis counselor told me UCD has the #1 Genetics program in the nation, including ivies (at the graduate level...)
..And the same professors that teach the graduate courses mostly teach the undergrad level as well ...
I'd definitely like to know the truth though, where did you find those statistics about UCSF, Harvard, Stanford, Yale, JHU....ect?
