just curious

this is my first semester (spring)
I wish I went somewhere else
engineering is tough here :(

CSU - Colorado State University?

My S apllied and was accepted to the Computer Science program at CSU. He is still not sure about whether he should go into computer engineering or computer science. He has also been accepted to Ohio State, Colorado Boulder, Texas Tech, and Baylor and we have not yet decided. However, I think his overall favorite is Colorado State. The campus is beautiful, he likes the climate, and I think there is probably quite a bit more of the computer industry in the vicinity of Denver/Fort Collins area than the other universities he has been accepted to (summer jobs). We think the CS & ECE programs in all the schools above are solid. All are about the same in rankings (US News Tier 2 schools). Texas Tech clearly costs less with in state tuition and their campus was surprisingly nice, but it’s quite a distance to a major city. Costs for the other out of state universities are higher but all about the same. He did receive a big scholarship at Baylor. Would appreciate any advice CSU students or parents have about the computer science and ECE programs or just life at CSU…
