<p>Hi there.</p>
<p>I applied to UM and am debating whether to apply to their Honors Program in Medicine.. my basic info:</p>
<p>SAT: Writing 680, Math 680, Reading 710
SAT 2 (it's really badd...) Chemistry 660, Math 1 730, Literature 690</p>
<p>So, i obviously haven't done too well on my tests. </p>
<p>But, my GPA (weighted) is 4.4, unweighted 3.97 and i have all the extracurriculars (swim team, Jrotc sabre team, kitty hawk commander, german honors society president, national honors society, MUN etc...) </p>
<p>And volunteer hours (100+) </p>
<p>so what are my chances of getting into UM? Has anyone applied to UM or their Honors Program in Medicine and gotten accepted? Is so, could you please write down your stats so i can atleast compare and see if i have a chance? </p>
<p>My father is also a doctor in the military so i had to move during my senior year which affected my ranking. i ranked top 5% at my last high school and am top 10% at my current high school and i realize that the HPM requires only top 5% but i'm hoping my situation can be explained with a letter of recommendation from my counselor? </p>
