I applied Feb 3, and haven't heard back yet.... I heard it takes up to 8 weeks, but less if you are a strong applicant. Is this a bad sign? Anyone have any experience in the waiting process for LSE grad?

I applied to the Urbanization and Dev program and Social Policy and Dev Program~ so they aren't the most competitive at LSE.

I was rejected by my first program, which was VERY selective, and it took about 6-8 weeks to hear back. The program I got accepted too gave me a decision within two weeks…

Hope this helps!

Hello. I was rejected for the MSC in IR and wait listed for my second choice program for 9 weeks. Now patience has paid off and I am in for the MSc Theory and History of International Relations. I cant wait! :)

It is very selective and you will probably wait a while longer. I mean I applied all the way in November 1st, 2009. Furthermore it does not matter which program you apply to. All have strict quotas they must follow therefore only a selected few can get in. Make sure you have high GPA and work experience.
