<p>We have gotten into MIT EA, but, as you all know, MIT EA is nonbinding. We have the opportunity to apply to other top colleges. Anyone applying anywhere else?</p>
<p>I, for one, am applying to Harvard, Yale, Princeton, and Stanford.</p>
<p>I’m probably going to MIT, but I got into Georgia tech, and I’m waiting to hear from UC Berk, UF, and Utexas. If I would’ve gotten deffered from MIT I would’ve applied to Caltech, Stanford, Brown, and Cornell.</p>
<p>Also got into Caltech. Applying to Harvard too.</p>

<p>I applied RD, but I also applied to Brown, Yale, Cornell, Princeton, Columbia, Harvard and Univ. of Penn with Northeastern and Univ. of Trondheim as my safeties. MIT is way top though.</p>

<p>I was already accepted at Michigan Tech, and I will probably get into UMich. I said screw it on my CMU app at the last minute, and I’m not sorry. I’m going to MIT!*</p>

<p>I applied to Harvard, but only because my parents insisted, because I’m not particularly interested in attending. Almost completely positive I’m going to MIT. I won’t receive much need-based aid anywhere, and the opportunities (not just academic) for me at MIT far outshine any other college in the nation.</p>
<p>this might seem like an odd question, but I have a friend who has A’s and B’s and has still applied to MIT. He had amazing essays, and a great interview.
Does he have a chance?

<p>My parents are forcing me to go to MIT in the fall. I’d rather just smoke pot, go to community college and listen to Def Karaoke Jam. I hate my parents!</p>

<p>For the record, you can do 2 out of those 3 things at MIT.</p>

<p>I must remind you that you are forgetting a certain “community college” that is up the river which we can take courses at…</p>
