I'm hoping to get my application in by Friday. I should hear back by October!!! -Derek

Are you a senior in high school? If you are then congrats on applying so early. I applied last year in November and got accepted in December. It was a wonderful feeling to relax for the rest of my senior year. I was completely confident in my decision to attend. I started just over 3 weeks ago. I love it here (I am on the Santa Fe campus). It's an amazing program.

Yeah, I am a senior. Did they notify you within 2 weeks? I can't even imagine how dreadful it would be to wait any longer than that! Do you like Santa Fe? Are your classmates/professors friendly? I have no doubt in my mind that, if accepted, I will attend. -Derek :)

I was notifiied in about 3 weeks. They called me while I was working at about 10 in the morning. I was so excited. I could barely contain myself. Haha.

I love Santa Fe a lot. It's very diverse and there is so much culture here. My peers and tutors are amazing. The students here have already become my family, though I have just realized how horrifically small the student body is. However, more good comes from that than bad. I love my tutors too. They have been very helpful and understanding. I am completely satisfied with my decision to come here. If you have any questions, you can send them my way.

I've been accepted!!! I just found out today. I'm absolutely elated!

YAY! Congrats! I really hope you enjoy it here (or there, since you will be in Annapolis). I absolutely love it.

Thanks! I'm sure I'll love it. Have you found the workload to be manageable up to this point? I'm a little bit worried about the math classes. Is it more of a conceptual approach to math? How do you like language tutorial and lab?

Congratulations, Derek!

I'm also intending to apply to St. John's - the Annapolis campus.

I was wondering about your interview. How did it go? What kind of questions do you ask them? Or, they ask you?

I'm currently working on the essay questions on the application.

-Kyle

Hey Kyle! The interview is completely informational (although I'm sure they evaluate you to some extent based on the questions you ask). Just ask honest, thoughtful questions and you'll be fine. I also made a point of asking questions that revealed something about myself (I asked whether there were opportunities at the school or in annapolis for me to continue my involvement in music). My interview was very casual and my interviewer was helpful and hospitable. Good luck!

I'm a Feshman at Annapolis and the workload isnt bad at all. You have plenty free time and everyone else is doing the same thing so study groups are abound. Math is very conceptual but you quickly realize that numbers arent needed and it becomes quite easy.

Wonderful! You have no idea how thrilled I am to be able to attend St. John's (barring any unforeseen event that would change my course of action). How do you like Annapolis? Do you like your classmates? Thanks in advance! Fondest Regards, Derek
