I’m submitting my application at the end of January.
yes, I’m scared I’m going to get denied again because of my SAT scores but I’m going to try anyway.
Do you have at least 24 college credits or will have then before March 1?
No, I will only have 15 credits. My second semester doesn’t end till May. After my second I will have a total of 30 credits.
Yeah, yo’ll have to submit SAT/HS Transcripts because the deadline is before you’ll get 30 credits.
I am too! I’m just scared of not getting in because I have a D in one of my classes and I don’t think I’ll have a 3.0 by the time I apply
Retake that class for the winter session or in the spring, I have a D in Psyc and I’m retaking it too.
I have a 3.2 gpa, is my chances good for getting accepted as a transfer student?
24 credits and a 3.0 is a pretty hard minimum for transfer admission these days – if you’re over that threshold, you’re in good shape. If not, you’ll want to make sure you’re working to get over that.
Chris
I am, but for EOP. @sbuadmissions how many transfer students will you be admitting into the program for the Fall?
I want to apply for fall 2016 however my gpa right now is a 2.9 and won’t be a 3.0 until after the semester but don’t know if they will even see the grades into consideration because the transcript will only show the classes before not after the semester
I believe we only take a handful each fall - 20 or thereabouts.
Chris
@sbuadmissions Thanks for the reply, Chris! One more question: When could transfer EOP applicants expect to hear by if they’ve already completed their application?
Probably not until late Feb/early March. Really working on freshmen now.
Chris
@Stephienutty you should still give at shot, because a 2.9 is pretty close.
@Stephienutty hey I have a 2.9 gpa and I still sent my application in too. lol you’re not alone. I’m really nervous about not getting in but since it’s so close I don’t think there’s any harm in not trying at least. you never know!
