<p>I’m sure… @Tamtastic, if you’ve never gotten a C before (also depends what class the one you have now is in) then they’ll probably think something temporary is just up with the grades. We’ll find out eventually I suppose.</p>

<p>@lovewater: I wouldn’t worry too much. the admissions officers can ask for qrt grades from some people and not from others for reasons we will never know why. Sumner Hall is a mysterious place…</p>

we gotta be great people if we wanna go to pomona! anyway… yeah it’s in AP bio. teacher gives tests on 150+ pages of text without a study guide and i’ve never been a real “studier” bc things usually come easy to me… unless it’s 150 pages of bio info that i need to memorize -_-</p>
<p>Ouch. I feel you on that one tamtastic. I took AP Bio last year and my teacher didn’t really teach the material too well and we only went through about 1/10 of the book, so by the time I got to studying for the AP test, I was really behind. What helped me a TON was the AP prep book (Barons I thought was the best). I wish I had gotten it at the beginning of the year because it just simplified everything and explained it really well in a concise but in-depth way. It was definitely the only reason I ever passed the test, especially with only about a month of preparation.</p>
<p>So how many of us know someone else who’s also applying ED to Pomona? I do. And I’m just starting to realize that this could make life somewhat agonizing when decisions come in.</p>
<p>I do, but he goes to a different school, so at least I don’t have to see him haha. I’m sure he’s going to read this, too. hi!</p>
<p>Oh well. I guess everybody has to face this dynamic at some point. We’re just early.</p>
<p>Only a few more days. I wonder if Pomona will mail out decision letters on Friday. Maybe some kind Pomona student will tell us when the mail truck is waiting outside admissions. I think somebody posted to that effect last year.</p>
<p>I actually don’t know anyone (other than you guys) doing ED1. Or ED2 for that matter.</p>

<p>hahahaha that’d be great. I’m tempted. My friend was saying he’s really tempted to call the admissions office and ask when they’re supposed to be mailed out, but he’s too chicken lol. I actually only know one other person from my school applying to Pomona at all. Nobody else has heard of it. They’re all like, “Wait Cal Poly Pomona?” Which is sad considering I live in CA</p>
<p>you guys don’t even know -_- the junior class at my school went on a trip to the claremonts and all the girls came back with pomona sweatshirts… (we wear uniforms and since pomona’s color is navy blue they can get away with wearing it at school) if the news is bad, i’m going to have to see POMONA POMONA POMONA everywhere for the rest of the yearn :,(</p>

I’m sorry! Most of my friends are either going to community college or are already accepted to schools like Azusa Pacific, so they’re all rubbing it in the faces of a few of us who are really seriously APPLYING to college. They’re all calm and relaxed and coasting their ways through senior year, while the rest of us are dying. :P</p>

<p>NICE! ahha, yeah. my school makes us apply to 4 UCs, 4 CSUs, and gives us the opportunity to apply to 8 privates free. so we’re all basically stressing out right now D:</p>
<p>that’s really lucky, though- the 8 privates free. The application fees are scary. and will someone PLEASE make that thread? I feel like SOMEBODY would comment on it…</p>
