AAAH I got in too! Plus distinction and Dean's Scholar. See you soon, perhaps!

Congratulations to all of you who have been accepted so far. We are on the east coast....hoping that is why we haven't heard yet.

DD received her letter of acceptance today!! She is very very excited. Now we just have to figure out how we're going to pay these bills!! She didn't receive anything about finaid at all...I thought they sent an estimate of costs. Does anyone when students hear about this?

Thumper, I was thinking about you when I saw Santa Clara EA decisions were out!! Congratulations! You must all be so happy!!!

im in. might see you all next year

why havent i heard anything yet??!

Congratulations, thumper and Timb! Thumper, my letter said I'll find out about my merit aid from the FA office in mid-January, so perhaps that's when they send out finaid info.

ha awesome, looks like one more acceptance left till a perfect scu board...

Settling...DD's letter didn't say anything about merit aid notifications. But she also did not get accepted with distinction, so I think it's unlikely she'll get any merit aid. Oh well...ugh. Although I had heard that in previous years, students with her stats got smaller merit awards ($5000 per year) which would be wonderful. I guess we'll have to wait and see. Her letter was very nice...came in a large envelope with the housing/deposit info and info about overnight visits (which she will do in the spring).

yayyy got my letter today :) i'm in with distinctions and dean's scholar!

i believe that makes our scu board perfect?

it does indeed. god we're so awesome.

Congrats all!

Yes...congrats to all!! But good luck to those of you who also applied ED to other places.

we are pretty awesome! wait so what does this deans scholar thing mean?

If you were admitted with distinction and are a dean's scholar, you will likely be receiving a decent merit aid award from Santa Clara.

oh sweet.. aww haha now i am going to feel bad if i dont end up giong there (if i get into my ED school). i love santa clara!

look how beautiful it is: http://www.scu.edu/virtualtour/images/Pan.jpg
and http://www.scu.edu/virtualtour/missiongarden.cfm

Congrats to everyone on the board that got in :)

I'm applying RD probably. It looks really beautiful and the psych program looks good as well so it seems like a match.

Here are my stats, any predictions would be great:

GPA: 3.3 uw, lots of honors courses, 3 APs junior (2 5s,1 4) and 2 senior w/2 college courses
SAT: 1350/2000 (690 CR, 660 M, 650 W)
EC's: Science Olympiad/band/jazz band (2 years), started psych club, a bunch of other clubs (nothing too special)

I'm really hoping for decent fiancial aid (EFC around 8,000) so I guess I'll see what happens.

anoel, my stats were pretty much the same as yours (3.25, 2060, good ec's) and i got in, so i think you are good. i havent gotten my financial aid, but i doubt we will be getting massive amounts of merit aid. im just waiting for the fafsa.

^ ya i second that, anoel you've got a great shot. haha science olympiad is the s h i t , one of my essays was about it...
