Has anyone who applied to Bard EA heard anything yet?

anyone?...

They said, at an info session last week, the letters will go out on Dec. 21st.

yes, I did, and am eagerly awaiting Thursday the 15th to see if I recieved any mail!

Ahh ignorance (at the Dec. 21 part). I want my letter. :(

haha i still have hope for this Thursday; it has been on my calendar for way too long

^Me too. I have a countdown to the 15th in my planner, lol.

this is my first child going to college. i've been somewhat uncomfortable reading through this forum because it seems to filter everything through the ivy league lense (and i know how many other opportunities higher education has to offer...). nevertheless, i've read through posts relentlessly...mostly, i think, trying to figure out where my daughter fits in the "big picture." we visited many small LACs in our area because she has been clear that that is what she wants. she has been generous and accepting. loving most of the campuses we visited, she's more than aware that we're restrained by the tuition benefits of the university i work for. she entered the process with an open mind, but it closed when she visited Bard. she wanted Bard...in every way...from the gehry and the trees, to the prospect of "moderation" and our most amazing tour guide (and also, and particularly, the senior project). she has been so generous in her willingness to go where it was a financial imperative, but when she got the letter from Bard today...well...I believe we will do whatever it takes to make it happen...

we're celebrating.

dear dressupandxdance. we wish you the best wherever you decide to go...

Thanks. I wish your daugher luck as well.

Congratulations....my son also go in and is very happy about it!
