Just wondering who else is out there...

I am applying as well.

hey brazillianbeauty, thanks for the response...i think we're both applying to tufts too actually. neat :)

have you done alot of research on BC? I feel like it's really difficult to get in as a transfer because of their low acceptance rate...it could be because they dont have a very qualified pool, but nevertheless, that kinda thing is always hard to tell.

what are some of your other options? and if you dont mind me asking what are your stats?

i didn't get in my first time around so im not keeping my hopes too incredibly high but its definitely always been my first choice.

anyway, good luck :)

i've heard that academics at boston college is very very easy. I orignally wanted to go there when i was applying the first time around but my opinion has changed.

Yeah about the acceptance rate for transfer, it's low.

what's changed your opinion?

i don't like a school w/ a big party scene

Hey, I may be applying to BC for the fall.

My college GPA is 3.8 and my SAT score was 1410. I'm currently a sophomore at UMass.

According to their stats for accepted students for fall of 2004:

Average college GPA for accepted students: 3.57
Average SAT for accepted students: 1259
Average ACT for accepted students: 27

The overall acceptance rate was 26%.

Hope that helps!

the thing about boston college si that it's academics isn't really good. I'm not bashing the school here. I mean read the reviews online and talk to current bc students and they will tell you that the academics will leave you lacking.
