anyone applying to HKU,HKUST ?

Is anyone applying to hku or/and hkust ?
What are you guys doing about class 11th results?? most of us aren't able to score pretty good in 11th.. i,myself scored less!

Hey guys !!! Reply !!

Hey. I’m applying to HKUST and NTU. Don’t worry. From what I’ve read on their website, Indian students need to submit only 10th and 12th board exam Marks. Also, I’ve sent them an email to confirm. I’ll tell you when I get a reply from them. My 11th marks are horrible. I’m in the same boat too ;)

HKU and HKUST generally offer admissions before 12th Board results and give a few days notice to deposit fees.

Thanks for the replies guys ! Are you submitting the application in the main round ?
Coz I have not been able to gather a couple of docs and I will have to submit it in main round now…

Oh. IDK. I might apply to early round. BTW, you should try NTU as well. NTU is a few ranks below, but it’s one of the best too. And what docs don’t you have? If its the recs, you can probably get them in 4 days right?

Getting into HKU is easiest out of the three. NTU cutoffs , atleast for CBSE are quite high ie 95% +.

My counselor said that I will need class 9-12 results.
And my teacher isn’t done with the LOR yet. So,as soon as he is done, I will submit the app. However,
since my family income is not much, Hkust and hku are proving to be expensive for me. ! :frowning:
I wish they give me a scholarship !

NUS and NTU are extremely competitive for both(ISC and CBSE students). Still, I will try.

HKU offer generous scholarships making it quite affordable , but it is not of the same level as HKUST atleast for Engineering .

Hmm… Let’s see what happens :(

I was wanting to apply to HKU but i was late in submitting my application. The late applications open up on 13th January but would it be worth giving it a shot?

I want to do engineering and have a grade 10 score of 9.4 GPA and a predicted score of 93% and am a school authority with very little extra curricular’ s.

Shall I apply to HKU and will I have chances of getting in?

Moreover which University is the best out of HKU,HKUST or NTU for mechanical engineering and which college offers the best employment

Please reply soon as i am already pretty much short of time

Thanks
