Anyone applying to UToronto or Waterloo University??

Title says it all.

Have you guys sent in all the required forms??

I just might. What is their deadline and what are the fees like?

Deadline to submit the intial OUAC application is gone, the deadline for submitting supplementary material is end of Feb (for UToronto), for Waterloo : I think its some time this week.

fees about $30K-$40K (Total cost)

Any scholarships?

some scholarships: 1K-3K's

i got in to waterloo last week :) my safety i'd say. but u of t(my #1 school) is better!

Waterloo is the king of CS in Canada

CS sux, warcraft and starcraft ROX.

CS = Computer Science :p

ha, software engineering is the hardest to get in to i think

they do have some "National Scholarships" but the deadline is 14th Feb, and its only if you are applying to one of the programs within the faculty of Mathematics

hey wait its this week ? You sure? I think it is in march !!! (Waterloo)

I am applying for fall 2005, computer engineering !!

BTW the application fees is kind of steep dont you think?

I am applying to Toronto for mechanical engg. I have to complete the supplementary app this week. Anyone know when we will know the decision?

I finished my OUAC application LONG ago, but they still haven't gotten my check. I think it got lost in the mail... :(

Oh, and yeah, I'm applying to both. What programs are you guys applying to?

bah the AIF form is looooooooooooooooooong

My OUAC's in. It was weird to be doing it after all the long apps to the US. I applied to U of T but not to Waterloo as the scholarships aren't very good and my parents aren't too interested in footing costs for university. I'm a finalist for the U of T national scholarship though. Interviews are the end of the month. I'm so scared because U of T is my number one choice.

haha, Its actually toooooooooooooooooo long :)

You know, only on this board have I ever heard anyone say "UToronto" (it looks so jarring!). Is that how non-Torontonians generally refer to U of T, or is it only on this board?

only on this board (I wanted to be specific), where I live its definitely U of T :)

I applied to U of T and waterloo both for CS.
